The Flint City Bucks will be wearing special kits on Saturday evening, July 13th at Kettering’s Atwood Stadium. The team will be raising dollars and awareness for the Hurley Foundation and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The Bucks will be hosting USL’s Michiana FC from South Bend, IN. The match will kick off at 7:30 PM.
At the conclusion of the match and fireworks display, MSN lead broadcaster, Jonathan Turner will begin auctioning the player jerseys. Fans will be invited to Section One at midfield to take part in the auction. The auction will also simultaneously occur on the Michigan Soccer Network’s HD YouTube channel. Fans unable to attend may DM their favorite player's name and maximum bid amount to the Bucks via Facebook or Instagram in advance of the auction.
Flint City and the Hurley Foundation encourage people to share this fundraising event with family, friends and other soccer enthusiasts. All money raised stays local to support young patients treated at Hurley Children’s Hospital. Auction participants will be making a tremendous impact on lives right here in Genesee County!
Bucks team president Costa Papista states, “We love partnering with the community for great causes like the Hurley Foundation and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Our players, coaches and staff are always eager to make a positive impact in Flint and Genesee County. Thank you to our kit partner, Podiumwear, for designing this special kit for us!”
“Our hope is that funds raised during this special night with the Flint City Bucks will help positively impact pediatric patient experience at Hurley Children’s Hospital, and we are grateful to the wonderful soccer fans in our community who seek to support them,” said Karima Amlani, Hurley Foundation President.
