Summary

1 Asheville City SC
(9-0-2)
Next match: vs. Tennessee SC,
7:30 p.m. ET, 7/13

Last Week:
1
Sebastian Tregarthen maintained their unbeaten record at the last second, against a talented Tennessee SC team that’s just booked their trip to the playoffs. It would’ve been all too easy to let the result go, as the club are already looking toward the postseason. The Blues are scary, and they refuse to lose. They’ll be one of the favorites for the title.
2 Seacoast United Phantoms
(11-1-0)
Next match: vs. Pathfinder FC,
6 p.m. ET, 7/10

Last Week:
2
Neck, meet foot. Marco dos Santos stomped out Vermont Green FC’s chances of winning the Northeast Division, and put their playoff hopes in the hands of Hudson Valley Hammers and FC Motown from the Metro division. A solo run from the halfway line sent shockwaves through two divisions – and the Phantoms have made their place in the hierarchy clear.
3 Western Mass Pioneers
(11-1-1)
Next match: vs. Vermont Green FC,
7 p.m. ET, 7/10

Last Week:
3
One last test for the Pioneers – hosting Vermont Green FC, in their first home match in their last four games. They’ve secured their place in the postseason, and last dropped points on June 15th, in a draw against the Green. All eyes will be on Lusitano Stadium on Saturday.
4 Little Rock Rangers
(8-0-2)
Next match: vs. Mississippi Brilla,
7 p.m. CT, 7/10
5
Last Week:
9
If the Rangers conceded four times the number of goals they’ve currently let in over their next two games, they’d still have the best defense in League Two. Tomasz Wroblewski is in pole position for the Golden Glove, and it’s going to be nearly impossible to touch him.
5 Flint City Bucks
(9-0-3)
Next match: @ Union FC Macomb,
6 p.m. ET, 7/10
1
Last Week:
4
A draw against Oakland County isn’t what they wanted, but the Bucks only need one more point to win their division, and the next two clubs on their schedule are the bottom two in Great Lakes. They’re comfortable heading into the last weekend.
6 Long Island Rough Riders
(9-1-1)
Next match: @ Manhattan SC,
7:30 p.m. ET, 7/10
1
Last Week:
7
There’s a lot of chaos in the Metro and Northeast divisions! With a five-point lead at the top of the table for the Rough Riders, though, it’s got little to do with them. They can wrap their season up by crossing 30 points and ending the playoff hopes of Manhattan SC Wednesday evening, to officially win the division.
7 Ventura County Fusion
(9-1-2)
Next match: vs. Redlands FC,
7 p.m. PT, 7/11
3
Last Week:
10
Ventura have already won the Southwest Division – but their last two matches against borderline playoff teams will serve as fine tune-ups as they seek to return to the summit.
8 Ocean City Nor’Easters
(9-2-0)
Next match: vs. West Chester United SC,
7 p.m. ET, 7/13
3
Last Week:
5
The division was already won, so maybe this is unfair – but nobody at the Beach House ever wants to lose to Reading United. It’s the longest rivalry in the league, and losing it stings. Maybe it’s exactly what they need before they seek another deep run in the postseason, but Josh Jones has to return to Louisville now.
9 Corpus Christi FC
(8-1-1)
Next match: @ Houston FC,
5 p.m. CT, 7/11
5
Last Week:
14
The Lone Star division is still closely contested, but the Sharks haven’t dropped points since their 5-5 thriller with AHFC Royals in the middle of June. Corpus Christi have a point advantage, and would cement the division with two wins in this last week.
10 Lionsbridge FC
(7-1-2)
Next match: @ Patuxent FA,
7 p.m. ET, 7/10
1
Last Week:
11
It’s a dead heat for the top of the Chesapeake division. Lionsbridge have the easier run-in, so they’re on top here, but it’s truly a toss-up. One of the most interesting divisional races of the season.
11 Virginia Beach United
(7-1-2)
Next match: @ Virginia Marauders,
7:30 p.m. ET, 7/10
2
Last Week:
13
Just like Lionsbridge, they have two more shots to add to their 23 points, and they’re in the playoffs if they take them. It would be a real treat to see these two Chesapeake rivals battle it out in the playoffs, later on down the line.
12 Des Moines Menace
(8-1-2)
Next match: vs. Chicago Dutch Lions FC,
7 p.m. CT, 7/13
6
Last Week:
6
Not the standard unimpeded dominance that the Menace are historically used to, but they still have the best record and best goal difference in a division with a very good Peoria City.
13 United PDX
(8-2-2)
Next match: @ Ballard FC,
7 p.m. PT, 7/12

The new lords of the Northwest flew in basically unnoticed – they’ve dropped points in four matches, and three of them were the first three games. Since then, they’ve played as well as anyone in the league, and are in pole position to take the division out of Ballard FC’s hands.
14 Peoria City
(7-1-3)
Next match: @ Sueno FC,
7 p.m. CT, 7/13

The Carp are having a magical season, and it’s now down to Luke Persenico and Co. to see what noise they can make in the postseason. They’ve been before, but lived in the shadow of bigger clubs in the division – is this their moment?
15 FC Motown STA
(7-1-2)
Next match: @ Hudson Valley Hammers,
7 p.m. ET, 7/10

Motown have lost one game this season – in match week 1. Since then they’ve been completely dominant, and can officially book their playoff spot on Wednesday.
